Duties: The Senior Molecular Biologist will coordinate and execute research activities associated with molecular biology, gene manipulation, high throughput screening and protein expression and purification as per needs of the laboratory. This individual should also have expertise in aseptic cell culture techniques and familiarity with primary human immune cells. As part of his/her responsibilities, this individual will lead in the design, construction and expression of tandem mini-gene constructs used for characterization of tumor-specific T cell responses. This individual will also coordinate and execute functional assays associated with tandem mini-gene cell lines. Individual will work with Principal Investigator and lab members to implement gene manipulation methodologies in primary human T cells. This individual will allocate a portion of his/her time to participate in managing daily operations of the laboratory.
The candidate must be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to critically evaluate and manage timelines and key deliverables. This includes managing relationships with the Principal Investigator, laboratory teams and external collaborators. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and as a team member.

Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
