Job Summary The Engagement and Annual Leadership Officer position is needed to work closely with UGA Development officers in Central Development and across campus to identify and qualify annual leadership and major gift prospects for the University of Georgia. In this role, he/she will be engaging new donor prospects, soliciting for annual leadership gifts and assisting major gift officers when these annual leadership donors are ready to make major gifts. The Engagement & Annual Leadership Officer will be responsible for making 150+ face-to-face visits annually. Following each visit, the Engagement Officer will record detailed interactions in the CRM (GAIL) system. The Engagement & Annual Leadership Officer will be responsible for ongoing communication with prospects, including thank you letters and updates on opportunities for engagement in the prospects' areas of interest at UGA. Attendance at donor and alumni events to foster relationships with members of the UGA community will be expected. The ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people and an established track record in building meaningful relationships coupled with the ability to inspire others are critical components of the position. The Engagement & Annual Leadership Officer must be passionate about fundraising as well as building strong, engaged communities of donors. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's plus some related experience
