The Associate Director serves as the Office of Undergraduate Admissions' deputy-in-command for the NYU Shanghai campus. The position serves as an authority on all matters of undergraduate admissions for the Shanghai campus and will play a pivotal role in directing outreach and evaluation/selection initiatives. The position will serve the leaders of all admission functions in the absence of the Shanghai admission director.Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Master's degree in higher education, administration/management or related field.

Required Experience:
5+ years progressively responsible professional experience in higher education administration or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include previous experience in managing programs, events, and/ or personnel.

Preferred Experience:
Knowledge and understanding of international admissions - trends, issues, complexities, outreach strategies, etc.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills; exemplary relationship building skills with both internal and external constituents; knowledge of market and societal trends affecting undergraduate enrollment at selective institutions including best practices for admissions strategies; competency in data analysis and familiarity with current technologies and trends; and a driver's license.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of PeopleSoft and imaging software. Experience at a large, decentralized college or university with global programming preferred.
