Duties: Provide leadership as well as day-to-day operations and activities related to the creation and delivery of IT services for the Division of University Life. Plan and manage complex multi-year projects and associated initiatives in support of IT solutions; define standards, best practices and implementation processes to meet and/or exceed the technology needs of the 30 offices within the Division of University Life. Facilitate the Division's technology strategy and policy through collaborative engagement with the divisional offices. Oversee the necessary governance processes; establish and document best practices. Maintain accountability for delivery of technology solutions, enhancement of current services, and managing exceptions. Ensure adherence to technical, quality assurance, data integrity, and security standards. Develop and document necessary policies and procedures; training and support materials; as well as maintain knowledgebase of best practices and processes. Keeps abreast of current technology; and maintains expert knowledge of Penn's and VPUL's supported hardware and software. Responsible for other tasks and special projects as directed.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in an IT organization, preferably in higher education, is required. Experience in strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management. Demonstrated strong negotiating, planning, team building, coaching, financial and risk management skills; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills; and strong problem-solving, mediation, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to successfully manage multiple and competing priorities and to work in a complex environment. Strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external customers, as well as contractors and vendors. Strong overall technology foundation and understanding of the landscape.
