Position Summary: The Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a Clinical Instructor for a fixed term position. The position will develop new translational research programs including immunologic mechanisms of interstitial lung diseases and acute lung injury. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, critical care services, outpatient duties, clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows as well as clinical research. Candidates must have a record of excellence in research as demonstrated through publications and the ability to obtain extramural grant research.

Education Requirements: Applicants must hold an M.D. degree, be Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and/or Critical Care Medicine.

Qualification and Experience: Applicants must have appropriate research training and teaching experience as well as completion of fellowship training in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine.
