Degree and Area of Specialization: Requires a BA/BS degree. A degree in a Biological Science is preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a higher education administrative setting or demonstrated experience as a student services coordinator, preferably in the biological sciences. High level of initiative and organizational ability required. Must have ability to be flexible in work assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively and collaboratively with faculty, graduate students and administrative staff of diverse backgrounds.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for the overall coordination of the Physiology Graduate Training Program and for providing administrative support to the Biomedical Graduate Program Consortium. The consortium currently includes four School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) graduate programs: Endocrinology - Reproductive Physiology (MS and PhD), Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (PhD), Molecular and Environmental Toxicology (MS and PhD), and Physiology (PhD).
