The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. BE/BC in Cardiac Electrophysiology is required. The successful candidate will join a four member cardiac electrophysiology section. This section is part of a large academic based practice of 30 plus interventional, EP, and non-invasive cardiologists based at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The four member section covers multiple outpatient sites and affiliate hospitals. We offer a full range of electrophysiology services, including a high volume of SVT, VT and Afib ablations, and device implants. Resources include a new biplane lab, a stereotaxis lab, Carto 3 with Univue, Laser for lead extraction and hybrid OR access. We are seeking cardiologists with a strong commitment towards our education and clinical mission.
