Job description

Duties: Plan and perform research and administrative tasks in an evolving, medium-sized research group that concentrates in tobacco addiction research in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Nicotine Addiction. Responsibilities include phone screening interested subjects, conducting in-person sessions in the lab with subjects, collecting data, including paper and pencil questionnaires, computer-based neurocognitive tasks, and physiological laboratory assessments, entering data, collecting, storing and shipping biological samples (saliva, urine, etc). The successful applicant will be trained to use specialized equipment for data collection such as video eye tracking and smoking topography devices, and has the opportunity to be trained in phlebotomy if desired.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience working with the public preferred. Other qualifications include: strong organizational, interpersonal and critical thinking skills; and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
