Duties: Conduct and coordinate clinical research activities with the Advanced Lung Disease Research Group within the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care. The position includes both a direct role as a research study coordinator and a role in supervising the work of the clinical research staff within the ALD group, including workflow processes, standardizing recruitment and study implementation procedures. Prepare and process all IRB documentation including submission, continuing reviews, amendments, and adverse event reporting. Organize and maintain all documentation required by sponsor or CRO. Resolve regulatory related queries with IRB, study sponsor, or CRO. Coordinate recruitment efforts in the ALD group for all clinical research studies. Recruit and screen potential patients as specified in protocol.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Direct experience as a clinical research coordinator required. Management and supervisory experience preferred but not required. Effective problem solving abilities. Effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Knowledge of IRB and human research regulations.
