RESEARCH SPECIALIST A
Duties: The position will conduct research and provide technical support to several projects studying auditory brain function and vocal communication using electrophysiological and behavioral methods in animal and humans. Responsibilities include: behavioral training, physiological recordings, human speech recordings, analysis of neural and vocal data, tissue histology, organize and maintain laboratory logs and databases, laboratory maintenance.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The position requires background in neuroscience, experience with animal research, and programming abilities in MATLAB. Ability to keep accurate records and excellent organizational skills are essential.
