The Department of Spanish, Italian, & Portuguese seeks applications to fill 3-year, non-tenure track Lecturer positions in Spanish and Italian to begin with the 2017-2018 academic year. Subject areas of particular need include but are not limited to: teaching undergraduate courses in language and culture at all levels.
Compensation may take the form of part-time salary with part-time benefits or full-time salary with full-time benefits, depending on the number of courses taught. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. M.A. in Spanish, or M.A. equivalent in Spanish, is required. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is required. At least one year of teaching experience at the college level in the U.S. is required.
