Sponsorships Account Coordinator
The Bursar's Office is accepting applications for a Sponsorships Account Coordinator. The role of this position is to coordinate between 3rd party sponsors and the University in billing tuition, fees, and other student charges to 3rd party sponsors in accordance with the terms of their individual agreements; to credit and adjust student accounts to reflect 3rd party sponsor commitments, to create offsetting 3rd party accounts receivable, to apply payments received for the receivables, and to refund overpayments that cannot be re-applied in accordance with the University's policy or the sponsor's wishes.
3rd Party Sponsorship Management. This position will be a primary contact for sponsors, who want to sponsor students tuition and fees. The position needs to make adjustments to student accounts and corporate accounts in Student Financial module to ensure the accuracy of sponsorship amount timely.
3rd Party Sponsorship Billing. This position is responsible for billing and collecting sponsorship from sponsors. The position needs to use query tools such as PS Query and MS Access to modify the criteria and billing template to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the billing.
Backup Departmental Support and Special Project. Assist in monitoring incoming requests in SF Accounting e-mail and 3rd Party e-mail. The position is also responsible for implementation of special projects as required by the Bursar's Office, and/or the University.
Other Control Activities and Student Worker Supervision. The position is responsible for payment logs review to ensure the completeness and accuracy of money received through campus mail and regular mail. This position may supervise a student worker, whose duties include but not limited to 3rd party sponsorship management, document archiving, and payment logs review.

What We Require
- A bachelor's degree from accredited institution of higher education in Accounting.
- Full-time professional accounting experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree in accounting on a year-for-year-basis.

- One year full-time professional accounting experience
- Experience in a Higher Education setting
- Experience in Campus Solution software
- Experience using queries tools such as Cognos, PS Query, MS Access, etc.
