Job Description
Provides assistance to the family courts and DSS by tracking child protection and TPR cases and expediting the legal processing of these cases. Monitors cases and assists in resolving issues that cause delayed hearings. This position will primarily be assigned to the 14th judicial circuit.


Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree and 3 years relevant program experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant program experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Expertise :
Must have working knowledge of state and federal laws relating to child welfare and familiarity with DSS policy and procedures. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with judges, lawyers, and agency staff. Must have technology skills necessary to enter case history information into a computer program. Must have valid South Carolina driver's license.


Preferred Qualifications
Strongly prefer experience in the South Carolina family court system. Prefer degree to be in a related field. Prefer experience in quality assurance programs and familiarity with the CFSR process.
