Job Description

The current opening is for the role of Technical Support Specialist. As a member of an elite team in an agile, explosive growth company you will support a variety of systems including mobile digital video evidence and digital signage. Therefore, the TSSS will be expected to work with end users, IT administrators, and sales professionals providing telephone and remote support for hardware and software related issues with a focus on white-glove customer service. Additional responsibilities may include refining business processes, product demonstrations, deployments, and training others.
The ideal candidate is someone who is innovative, determined, and reliable and has a relentless pursuit of excellence. In this role your efforts will not just be measured on an individual basis, but by the accomplishments of the team and the success of your clients.

Job Requirements:

Required Experience
• Experience with working multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have ticketing systems experience
• Must have help desk experience
• 2 years professional experience
• Strong customer facing skills
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills (on site and/or on phone)

• High degree of technical aptitude and experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Careful attention to detail, even under pressure
• Ability to communicate with clients in a language they will understand

Technical Requirements:
• Strong Windows (XP , 7, 8) knowledge and experience
• Experience with servers and storage devices (SAN, NAS)
• Networking Technologies - Client/server relationships, workgroups, TCP-IP, dynamic addressing, 802.11 wireless, wireless security, Active Directory
• File Transfer Technologies

Beneficial Experiences:
• Familiarity with disk imaging and virtualization
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012, and Microsoft .Net 2.0 and higher
• Knowledge of VPN tunneling and authentication (especially NetMotion certified or experience)
• Basic to advanced programming skills in - .NET, C, and Web development
• Linux, Android, Tablet, and other specialty hardware
• Network Operation Center, Monitoring and alerting software
• Ability to learn and support hardware installation procedures - including wiring concepts
• Ability to learn proprietary Front End and Back End software as well as proprietary hardware in a short period of time
• IP camera, DVR, video recorder experience is a plus
