POSITION TITLE:              Public Speaking Instructor                                             

DEPARTMENT:                 Academic Affairs/Arts & Sciences

DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe Public Speaking/Communications Instructor is responsible to the Division Dean for Arts and Sciences for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in Public Speaking/Communications courses and advisement of students in the Associate of Arts/Sciences Programs. Responsibilities occur in the areas of instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, professional development, college/community service, and instructional management.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Speech or Communications or closely related field.
