Job Description

Long-term contract in Downtown Dallas! (75201) Interviewing asap tomorrow! Must be able to start MONDAY!

(Parking is not paid for-you must pay for parking or take the DART in)

Pay is $21.00 an hour

**Must be able to work 7am-4pm the 1st 2 weeks for training** No exceptions

Service Desk Technician Job Description:

Providing excellent user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms

Troubleshooting of issues and taking appropriate action to resolve said issues

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Answer phones professionally

Respond to requests for technical assistance either by telephone or email

Diagnose and resolve technical issues (both software and hardware)

Research questions using all available information resources

Handle and resolve customer grievances

Follow standard help desk procedures and policies

Log 100% of all help desk interactions with customers with great detail

Respond promptly to customer inquiries

Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resources

Follow up on customer interactions

Keep current with system information, changes and updates

Education and Experience

Bilingual - Spanish (preferred but not required)

High School diploma, general education degree or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of fundamental operations, hardware and other equipment

Proficiency of Windows 7

Proficiency of Office 2010 - 2013

Proficiency with Mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhones, Androids)

Proficiency in Active Directory

Knowledge of Macintosh products

Knowledge of Service Now ticketing system a plus
