DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Nursing Instructor is responsible to the Division Dean of Health Sciences for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in nursing courses in the Nursing Program. Responsibilities occur in the areas of instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, professional development, college and/or community service, and instructional management.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Master’s of Science in Nursing required with three years clinical experience required and two years teaching experience preferred. Preference given to mental health experience. Applicants must be eligible for a license to practice nursing in South Carolina. Technical College of the Low country is a public two-year technical college serving four counties in the southern coastal region of South Carolina.
