Instructor - Biology
The Department of Biology at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs invites applications for a non-tenure track instructor position to teach introductory biology lecture and labs and other biology courses as needed. The position starts in August of 2017. Applicants must have at least a Master's degree in biology or a closely-related discipline. Highest consideration will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience in biology lectures and/or labs. Standard load is 24 contact hours per academic year (fall and spring) in a 95% teaching 5% service proportion.
The University enrolls ~ 12,000 students with ~ 750 undergraduate Biology majors. The Department of Biology is dedicated to outstanding teaching and research at the undergraduate and Master's levels ().
