General Summary of Position:
The Department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences (BNS) at UMass Lowell is searching for part-time adjunct instructors to teach basic and advanced courses in Nutritional Sciences. Courses include Nutrition and Health, Human Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Life Cycle Nutrition, Nutrition and Metabolism, Food Service Management, Nutrition Assessment, Vitamins and Minerals, and Nutrition and Gene Expression. Courses serve undergraduate and graduate students from Nutritional Sciences as well as other majors within the College of Health Sciences and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Master's degree in Nutrition required, Ph.D. preferred
-Registered Dietitian credential preferred
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups

Other Considerations:
-Successful candidates should have a strong desire to teach a diverse population of graduate and undergraduate students
-Experience teaching advanced nutrition, nutrition metabolism and/or medical nutrition therapy at the university level, and current practice in Dietetics are major strengths in applicants for this position
