Academic Radiology - HS Clinical Series - Emergency Medicine Radiology

Due to departmental and sectional growth, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified candidate in the in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor academic series (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level). Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the UC Irvine Health including emergency department, urgent inpatient imaging and outpatient imaging including CT, US, MRI and radiographs as well as diagnostic procedures. Candidate will be responsible for covering all pediatric cases and procedures and should be or eligible to become CCS paneled, as well as participating in the weekly NICU rounds.
The successful candidate must have excellent clinical, technical and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to education, research and patient safety. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching and clinical research in a busy tertiary care center. Applicants must possess certification by the American Board of Radiology, and be fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Cardiothoracic Radiology and/or Musculoskeletal imaging is required. Candidates must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the State of California.
The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residencies. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County.
