Duties: Assists in the daily supervision, planning, and management of athletic events and temporary/work study staff as assigned. Assists the Athletic Operations office by scheduling temporary staff, assigning daily duties, contacting officials/visiting teams/game staffs, managing room set ups/breakdowns, creating and distributing operational timelines. Works on special projects and events as assigned, particularly the operational planning of the Penn Relays. Ensures safe and successful events. Reports to and receives general administrative support, supervision, and direction from the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Operations, and the Assistant Athletic Director of Operations.
Qualifications: Vocational or technical school plus 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. strong customer service skills; good oral and written communication skills; previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
