Teach high school summer courses during one or both three-week summer semesters utilizing approved course outline and syllabus. Available subjects include: Algebra 2, Geometry, English-9th Grade, American Government, Economics, and Health.

Ensure the safety and well-being of students and adhere to all WCC policies and procedures.

There is a mandatory staff orientation on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. More information will be provided in the future.

Special Instructions to Applicants: This is a temporary summer position. June classes run every weekday from June 12-June 30, 2017. July classes run every weekday from July 10-July 28, 2017.

Instructors are scheduled for either 8a-12:10p or 12:35-4:45p.

Mandatory staff orientation is on Thurs., June 8, 2017, from 4-7 p.m.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and secondary education teaching certificate with endorsement in subject area required.

Completed at least 1 year of teaching at the high school level. Substitute teaching experience will be considered.

Demonstrated ability to meet diverse learning requirements of high school students and experience working with diverse student populations.

Familiarity with Illinois State Standards for the requested teaching area.
