Job description

Under the direction of the Manager of High School partnerships, oversee the operation of the High School SOAR Program at either the Downtown Aurora or Sugar Grove campus.

Core responsibilities include managing program operations including attendance, safety, discipline, instructor services, parent communication, textbook distribution, and grade reporting. Serve as a classroom substitute as needed.

Special Instructions to Applicants: This is a temporary summer position with classes each weekday from June 12-30, 2017, and July 10-28, 2017.

You will be assigned either a morning (7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) or afternoon shift (12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.)

There is a mandatory program orientation on Thursday., June 8, 2017, from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field and administrative experience at the secondary level.

Current IL education or administrative certificate.

Experience working with a diverse student population.


Master's degree in Education or related field.

Current IL secondary administrative certificate.

Minimum 1 year in high school administration.

Bilingual English/Spanish.
