Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Executive Vice President-Chief Operating Officer.

This position serves as the receptionist and building coordinator for O'Neil Hall, and provides general administrative office support for the Office of the EVP-COO.

The successful candidate will be able to carry out duties that vary in scope and in level of complexity. Key responsibilities include drafting correspondence, tracking EVP-COO Office tasks, assisting with Board of Visitors meeting preparation, answering phones and providing general support to EVP-COO team.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive administrative experience; exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; knowledge of policies and procedures; ability to exercise appropriate discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential issues; and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

A Bachelor's degree is required, with at least four years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills; Proficiency with office equipment, including multi-line phone system; Ability to communicate with all levels of administration and general public.
