Candidate may teach courses in Biological Sciences and Chemistry. The position will include direct mentoring of university clinical experience students in the classroom. Talented and organized educational leaders with exceptional people skills are encouraged to apply.
1. Certified to teach biology and chemistry at the high school level.
2. B.A. or B.S. is required.
3. An interest in working in a lab school setting with a diverse student population is expected.
4. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Experience preferred. Special consideration will be given to candidates who possess expertise in interdisciplinary work, standards-based grading, technology, and differentiated instruction. Extracurricular coaching assignments may be available.
