The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto are inviting applications for the position of Urology Surgeon. The effective date of this appointment is immediately.
Responsibilities include full clinical urology practice, research, and education, and administrative responsibilities as required by a Staff Surgeon. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is required. The preferred candidate will have extensive experience in transitional care and transplantation.
The successful candidate should be an academic with an international reputation who can provide effective and collaborative leadership at the hospital, provincial, national and international level. The candidate must be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

The Division of Urology is comprised of 5 surgeons, and provides medical and surgical care of the entire urological and genital systems for both boys and girls from infancy to adolescence, specializing in surgical problems of the kidneys, the bladder and the genitalia.
Salary will be between the range of $200,000 - $500,000 for 40 hours work per week, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Life, Group Insurance, Pension, and Vision.
