Reporting to the Senior Associate Director for Marketing and Recruitment, the Assistant Director for Market Research, Assessment, and Training will engage in research that facilitates assessment, strategic planning, and implementation of training and marketing activities for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
As a member of Undergraduate Admissions' management team, the Assistant Director participates in the strategic and tactical decisions for the office. S/he reviews applicants for admissions and is expected to travel and periodically participate in recruiting activities as needed.
Position requires limited travel and some evening and weekend work.
Masters degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
Prefer experience with increasing levels of responsibility in college or university admissions. Experience with marketing research and/or assessment, as well as training, is preferred. Familiarity with admissions policies is highly desirable. Knowledge of and/or experience with Ellucian Banner is extremely desirable. Knowledge and/or experience with Slate Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system and MS Word/Excel ideal.
