University of North Texas Health Science Center - Senior Administrative Coordinator
The Institute for Patient Safety Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:* Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.* Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.* Review and analyze budget reports, prepare and develop budget modifications and recommendations.* Attend meetings to record minutes.* Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.* Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.* File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.* Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.* Make travel arrangements and travel with the IPS team to local and national conferences.* Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.* Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for committee, board, and other meetings.* Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, departmental finances, budget preparation, personnel issues, and housekeeping.* Performs other duties as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
