* This posting is an hourly position and is non-benefits eligible.The department of Intensive English Language Institute is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist III support position to assist their team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Process applications in a timely manner.* Process term updates for IELI applicants.* Correspond with IELI applicants regarding admissions requirements* Provide information to current IELI students about UNT and transition requirements.* Communicate with ISSS, SSPO, Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions offices and other contacts on campus to facilitate admission of IELI applicants and students to UNT.* Produce timely, reliable, and accurate reports.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and three year of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:* Basic MS Office skills.* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.* Ability to effectively communicate.* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.* Skill in composing routine letters and preparing reports.* Skill in recording and compiling material for reports.
