Professional Lecturer Pediatric Nursing
DePaul University’s School of Nursing seeks to recruit a full time non-tenure track faculty member to teach Nursing Care of the Infant, Child, and Adolescent course, and other courses as assigned, in the Master’s Entry to Nursing Practice curriculum. The position also requires coordination of this clinical course, providing leadership to up to six clinical/adjunct faculty per quarter to maintain quality and consistency. Other expectations of the faculty role include: holding office hours for students and attending School of Nursing meetings and events. After the first year, the faculty member will advise a roster of students as assigned and participate in shared governance through committee work.
Master’s Degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD preferred); minimum two years’ full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; eligible for unencumbered licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Illinois; demonstrated excellence in organizational skills and communication.
Significant teaching experience including classroom, clinical, lab, and online; significant experience with curriculum development and evaluation.
