Associate or Full Professor, School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at DePaul University seeks to increase the number of our senior faculty and invites applications for a senior scholar position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful applicant will have a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service, to qualify for a senior tenured position, or be well positioned to seek tenure on an abbreviated trajectory based on a record of achievement.
Earned research doctoral degree in nursing or a kindred field.
Seven or more years of experience in nursing education at the baccalaureate or higher levels.
Unencumbered RN licensure in Illinois , or immediate eligibility for such, as well as at least two years’ of full-time clinical experience.
Distinguished teaching record in nursing education at the baccalaureate or higher levels including graduate research supervision.
Scholarly publication record commensurate with appointment at the rank of associate or full professor.
Strong background of participation in nursing education program development and governance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others productively.
Any nursing specialty may be considered. Demonstrated experience and expertise in faculty development, mentoring, grantsmanship, program leadership, and interprofessional health sciences education are highly desired.
