MGR RES PROJECT A
Duties: Provides overall daily management of the research program in collaboration with the Principal Investigator; monitors all aspects of the program; participates in grant preparation, manages research projects, works with the Institutional Review Board and collaborating investigators, coordinates subject recruitment and screening; obtains informed consent; conducts interviews and follow-up as needed. Coordinates and conducts data collection, quality control and compliance in keeping with study protocols. Conducts analyses and manages data for the research program. Prepares reports and makes presentations on study results; drafts abstracts and articles for publication.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or health related field and at least 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience required. Master's degree preferred.
Strong research background preferred. An in-depth knowledge of research design and the grant proposal process required. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels in a fast paced environment using sound judgment and organizational savvy. In depth knowledge of IRB coordination essential. The successful candidate will possess initiative and a results orientation. Must be a collaborative team player with the ability to work both independently and as part of a research team. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong PC related skills in MS Office and related database management. Web content management; savvy technical user with social media skills preferred.
Position is contingent upon funding.
