Position Information: Under the direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC), the Development Coordinator will support the development office by overseeing day to day operations including; managing timelines and calendars, providing administrative support to the office, providing telephone and office coverage, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and other development business processes. Incumbent will posses a high level of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with donors, faculty, campus leadership and University Advancement Leadership Team. Minimum Requirements: Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.
Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
