Position: Sr. Analyst (Naval Enterprise Communications/Public Affairs)
Develop leadership talking points related to enterprise efforts, issues, and accomplishments for use in public events, ceremonies, testimonies, and meetings. Lead weekly communications team meetings, coordinate workflows, and facilitate the development of message maps for use in creating content. Create a newsletter published 6-8 times a year highlighting accomplishments, principles, or significant issues within naval aviation. Develop a bi-annual Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) communication plan to align with and support the accomplishment of the NAE Strategic Plan. Lead the development and execution of a bi-annual NAE communication assessment to measure the effectiveness of NAE communication efforts and assess levels of comprehension and support among NAE stakeholders while supporting NAVAIR development of content and layout for the bi-annual NAE vision book and strategic plan. Develop a monthly editorial calendar for the NAE Facebook and Twitter accounts and post approved content that promotes enterprise tenets and principles through social media while maintaining the content and format of the NAE SharePoint and public-facing Web site.
-5 years of experience with working in a complex or technically demanding project or task environment
-Experience with military public affairs as a commissioned officer, senior enlisted, or DoD civilian
-Experience with commercial public affairs or corporate communications
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
-BA or BS degree
Security Requirements: Must Currently Hold and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance
Travel Requirements: 20% travel
