Nursing (Adult Acute Care)
The Department of Nursing at Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota invites applicants for a clinical faculty position in adult acute care.
Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities include working with students in the traditional baccalaureate program primarily in clinical courses with some opportunities to participate in course lectures and laboratory settings. General faculty responsibilities include involvement in the activities of the department, which includes participation in teaching teams and committees.
Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the university and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel’s anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.
Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.
A master’s degree in nursing is required, A clinical focus with practice in adult acute care settings is highly desirable. Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility required.
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
