Rank & Salary: Assistant Professor appointment for Teacher Education. Full-time, tenure-track position in the Department of Teacher Education. Salary dependent upon qualifications.
Appointment Date: August 11, 2017
Full-time tenure track position to teach education coursework to undergraduate candidates. Development of a research agenda, including the involvement of undergraduate candidates is expected. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in undergraduate instruction, participate in the department's distance learning activities, participate in internship supervision, and contribute to advising, service, and scholarly components of the College of Education. - Ph.D. or Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction or related field from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. ABD candidates, by the time of appointment, are encouraged to apply.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time K-6 classroom or early childhood teaching experience in a U.S. accredited public school.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Experience in early childhood education.
- Full-time or part-time college teaching experience on campus and/or virtually.
