Basic Function:
The Associate Operations Manager is responsible assisting with and executing all operational procedures, processes and initiatives which affect the successful delivery of Corporate and Professional Education programs, including graduate degree and certificate programs, non-credit workshops, technical short courses and special programs. The duties include: being the customers' and students' first resource for all questions and issues, assisting the Senior Operations Manager in the management of corporate operations; directly managing the process for successful set-up and delivery of programs and working with sales and development to successfully implement new programs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • • Primary interface to customers of Corporate and Professional Education responsible for course delivery and customer satisfaction. This includes students, corporations, and all departments on campus.
    • Manage student enrollment, registrations, grading, credentialing and the operation and maintenance of the associated student records and retrieval system(s).
    • Monitor student participation in programs and provide feedback to account team for planning long- and short-term business objectives.
    • Assist in obtaining and interpreting feedback from our clients and students and making recommendations for specific actions to improve student satisfaction in content and delivery.
    • Schedule and attend customer visits for routine program support, securing attendance of Senior Operations Manager and Sales Account Manager(s) to address student concerns as expressed in program evaluations.
    • Provide operational support of program activities including: obtaining of texts and classroom support materials; management of classroom schedules and booking and logistics for onsite program locations.
    • Provide support for professors and instructors as needed.
    • Organize and manage student related communications, events, and functions.
    • Assist in managing the billing, receipt and collection of Corporate and Professional Education tuition invoices, with support from Operations Coordinator.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Minimum of three years experience in customer relations, marketing, sales, customer service, or related experience a must
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Attention to detail a must
    • Flexibility with a commitment to delivering exceptional service critical
    • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
