General Summary of Position:
1. Responsible for general and specialty advising in degree and certificate programs offered through the Division such as: Bachelor of Liberal Arts, Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, English, and Psychology. This includes course selection to ensure that requirements for graduation are met in a timely and accurate manner.

2. Collaborate with a team to recruit students to OCE. Track students using CRM as students' progress through the student success cycle. Work with Admissions and Advising colleagues to increase yield and retention.

3. Responsible for responding to inquiries from online students via Live Person and email, as well as organizing Virtual Open Houses, Information Sessions,and other student events such as the Continuing Education Honor Society Induction Ceremony; and Career workshops and networking events.

4. Work with advising team and collaborate with OCE web office and Registrar's Office in developing new opportunities and programs for students. Act as liaison to web developers regarding updates and changes to website.

5. Responsible for advising students when needed at the Haverhill satellite.

6. Responsible for preparing reports and data analytics on retention and graduation rates. Responsible for completing student and degree audits and degree clearance; as well as monitoring student academic records. Communicate any errors or deficiencies on SIS or advising reports. Collaborate with the Registrar's Office when necessary. Responsible for identifying and working with at risk students including students on academic warning and probation.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
-Master's degree and 3-5 years of advising experience
**Will consider candidates with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of advising experience, preferably in a continuing education environment
-Demonstrated ability in the use of excel spreadsheets as well as all components of Microsoft Office
-The ability to work effectively with diverse groups

Other Considerations:
-Demonstrated ability in the use of excel spreadsheets as well as all components of Microsoft Office
-Demonstrated experience working with faculty and students in academic and student support services
-Experience with PeopleSoft student records and knowledge of Student Advisement Reports
-Familiarity with CRM particularly Salesforce a plus
-Experience planning workshops and networking events for students, as well as familiarity with career services is a plus
-Work requires independent thinking as well as following established University guidelines
-Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently
-Excellent organizational and customer service skills
-Requires independent thinking as well as following established University guidelines. Works with supervisor, faculty coordinators, and faculty as needed
-Must use own judgment in applying guidelines, policies and procedures
