Job Summary The University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications and nominations for the position of Editor of Georgia Magazine in the Division of Marketing and Communications. The position reports to the Director of Brand Strategy and is responsible for all aspects of the Georgia Magazine which is produced four times a year for an audience of approximately 150,000 alumni donors and friends. The position is focused on all aspects of producing a magazine that represents the University of Georgia as a top-tier public national research university and collaborates with colleagues in the development and alumni relations office to produce a magazine that: o Presents the University as a major public research university with national and global relevance; o Illuminates the critical role alumni and friends play in advancing the institution; and o Reveals UGA's student-centered nature. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with major coursework in writing, publications, or related field plus five years relevant experience.
