Degree and Area of Specialization: MD or DO; Board prepared/board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Completed residency training in Emergency Medicine is required. Appointment at rank of Associate Professor requires meeting criteria as established in SMPH guidelines for appointment and promotion on the Clinician Teacher track.
License or certificate: Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
Position Summary: UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health has an exciting opportunity to join the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine as an Emergency Medicine physician. Emergency Medicine physicians will be expected to provide clinical care in the emergency departments at University Hospital and The American Center. The incumbent will also have the opportunity to teach residents, medical students, and fellows and participate in mission aligned service activities.
