The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Sr. Research Associate 2. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and validating clinical trial data to ensure integrity and accuracy based on project specific guidelines. Serve as a liaison to investigators and research teams in regards current status and enrollment information of their studies. Responsible for requesting current SCCC members and request to IT-ORIM their newly approved trials and also the status of their existing trials. Serve as liaison to PRMC to ensure that trials are being reviewed and enrollment monitoring in a regular basis. Responsible for analyzing reports of data duplicates or other errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication and monthly or daily data reports. Responsible for querying data inconsistencies and in compliance with CCSG requirements. Provide quality assurance and control for databases and develop reports and systematically reviewing the data. Assist in research staff training. Provide support for the creation of electronic clinical/research data entry forms Responsible for testing software applications. Responsible for reporting test findings to programmers and for providing suggestions for improving application user friendliness. Responsible for understanding the flow and business rules of software applications supported by the division. Write user documentation for in-house software applications and update documentation as needed. Create informational material, such as brochure, for in-house software applications. Assist in evaluating third party tools and providing recommendations. Assist in preparing the estimates for technical tasks. Work with users to identify needs for standards and ad hoc reports. Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum requirements are: Master's degree and atleast one year of relevant work related experience with evidence of tangible contributions to the dissemination of new research information.Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Patient safety is a top priority. As a result, during the Influenza ("the flu") season (September through April), the University of Miami School of Medicine requires all employees who provide ongoing services to patients, work in a location (all Hospitals and clinics) where patient care is provided, or work in patient care or clinical care areas, to have an annual influenza vaccination.
