Job Description Responsibilities Apply process and organizational improvement concepts to assist WMATA teams responsible for developing comprehensive IT business designs in specific functional areas Manage business case for change, including coordinating work to prevent overlap and ensure alignment Produce flow charts, context diagrams, problem analyses, mind maps and other tools to capture and communicate design decisions and components Apply gap analysis techniques to define the nature and extent of needed change and communicate business case to decision makers Understand and explain the relationship between process design and information capture and retrieval, especially with respect to performance measurement Work with IT architects to ensure business goals are supported by IT plans Guide the work of business systems/business case analysts and documentation specialists Minimum Requirements Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Group facilitation experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience Experience using Microsoft Excel to perform basic financial analysis of business processes Familiarity with MS Word and MS PowerPoint Proven ability to implement process improvements Preferred Requirements Experience coordinating software requirements and working with development teams Experience in data modeling Formal training in organization development, complex systems analysis, group facilitation, or information systems requirements analysis Experience in the transit industry Experience Levels Level 1: one (1) to five (5) years' experience. (Process Analyst) Level 2: five (5) to ten (10) years' experience. (Process Reengineering Consultant) Level 3: ten (10) or more years' experience. (Process Reengineering Expert)
