General Function:

Represent Motlow College by serving as the Advanced Robotics Training Center (ARTC) administrator.  Provide non-credit educational and training opportunities for businesses, industries, and governmental agencies in the region, credit courses, and assist with the recruitment of students and faculty.  Provide overall leadership handling such duties as scheduling and management of the facility, budgeting, managing the collection of fees, recruiting, marketing, and overseeing assessment and program evaluation methods.  Collects and reports necessary data on gainful employment as mandated by the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, plus three (3) years relevant experience.  Ability to develop partnerships with business and industry; design programs to meet business needs.  Strong organizational and leadership skills, including the ability to grow the non-credit and credit programs offered.  Strong computer skills to maintain all of the necessary reporting and functional requirements.  Master’s degree and knowledge of workforce and training issues preferred. Some evening and weekend work is required. Knowledge of technical training, workforce development, and robotics industry required.
