Job Description

3.3.2.1. Responsibilities
3.3.2.1.1. Assess, select, manage and implement enterprise application components to ensure that technical solutions solve the business problem and meet functional baselines
3.3.2.1.2. Brief senior managers and end users on applications integration/functionality within WMATA
3.3.2.1.3. Determine technology inadequacies and deficiencies that affect organizational goals
3.3.2.1.4. Provide technical strategies that will improve productivity across functional areas within WMATA
3.3.2.1.5. Educate WMATA staff with regard to product-specific best practices
3.3.2.1.6. Lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of associated work product
3.3.2.1.7. Ensure accuracy of services to meet established deadlines

3.3.2.2. Minimum Requirements
3.3.2.2.1. Six (6) years of General IT experience including formal training and two (2) years' experience in BPR methods, plus formal training and one (1) year experience in enterprise applications
3.3.2.2.2. Expertise in enterprise application implementation with specific PeopleSoft ERP products, across functional business areas within an organization
3.3.2.2.3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Systems, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering/Engineering Technology, Software Engineering/Programming, Management, Natural Sciences, Mathematics or Business/Finance. Experience requirements may be substituted with a Master's degree (in subjects described above) and four (4) years' experience; a PhD Degree (in subjects described above) and two (2) years of General IT experience. Three (3) years of additional applicable experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree

3.3.2.3. Experience Levels
3.3.2.3.1. Expert level, with six (6) or more years of General IT experience including formal training and two (2) years' experience in BPR methods, plus formal training and one (1) year experience in enterprise applications
