The Colby College Department of Athletics seeks a full-time head women’s hockey coach, beginning July 1, 2017. This is an adjunct faculty position with benefits. The head coach is responsible for the direction, instruction, supervision, and coaching of the women’s hockey program. Responsibilities also include the overall administration of the program including budget, equipment and travel. The recruitment of student-athletes is also required. A secondary responsibility will be added depending on the qualifications of the applicant.

Colby is a highly selective private liberal arts college of approximately 1850 students located in central Maine. The college is an NCAA Division III institution and is a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. The candidate should have successful experience as a head coach or substantial experience as an assistant coach. Previous coaching and recruiting experience on the college level is desirable.
