The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing invites applications for a new Assistant Professor on the non- tenure-track to teach within our online graduate programs.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaches and mentors students in the specialty area, advises students, works collaboratively with nursing colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines, publishes and maintains scholarship in their field, maintains active involvement in professional organizations related to specialty area, actively seeks opportunities for and participates in GW School of Nursing and faculty governance, and maintains a clinical practice.Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have: (1) a doctorate in nursing, education, public health or related field; (2) certification as an FNP; (3) eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA licensure; (4) experience working with diverse and underserved populations; (5) NP experience in family primary care; (6) prior teaching experience at the college or university level; (7) an established/developing body of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and/or funded grants in the area.Advertised Salary: Other Benefits: Other Information: Special Instructions to Applicants:
