Excelsior College, a regionally accredited, virtual, private, nonprofit institution of higher learning is seeking dynamic applicants for the position of Production Coordinator within the Center for Educational Measurement



Summary



The Production Coordinator is a member of the Center for Educational Measurement Unit and reports to the Director of Assessment Communications and Marketing. The Production Coordinator assists with recruiting, on boarding, retention, communications for the Unit's Subject-Matter Experts.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational, collaboration, problem-solving skills, as well as flexibility and professionalism in working with the Unit's staff and management. She/he will interact with many constituencies and must be skillful in communicating effectively while managing multiple priorities.

This is a full time position located at: 7 Columbia Circle, Albany NY 12203



Responsibilities


  • Assist Director of Assessment Marketing & Communications in recruitment of consulting faculty for committee work, item writing and standard setting.
  • Maintain accurate and current records in database.
  • Collect, process and maintain all required paperwork associated with hire and payment.
  • Coordinate all travel plans and approvals in conjunction with Excelsior College travel partner(s) and in accordance with all EC rules and regulations.
  • Carefully review all travel reimbursements for accuracy and compliance with existing travel and reimbursement policies and all rates prior to submission to fiscal office.
  • Coordinate room, technology and food reservations as needed, keeping within budget for meeting meals.
  • Prepare meeting materials & packets, name tags, schedules and other meeting needs to ensure smooth event planning & execution.
  • Create, maintain, and modify spreadsheets as needed to track and report on recruiting or meeting costs and other unit key performance indicators(KPIs).
  • Assist with editorial revisions of examination content guides, brochures, internal and external communications as needed.
  • Collaborate with other Unit staff as requested.
  • Work on other special projects and other duties as assigned.



Qualifications


  • Associates degree in Business or other relevant area required.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in data manipulation and reporting may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within prescribed time frames.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in an assessment or testing environment strongly preferred.
