Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Duties of Position

Responsible for the routine technical support of Adult Educational Development (AED) classroom instruction, testing and software/hardware. Partners with the Information Technology department to maintain the technology used in the Learning and Career Center, Community Resource Center and Main campus.

Reports computer issues and troubleshoots if possible.

Evaluates the user functionality of software upgrades for future operating system capability.

Provides software testing assistance for upgrades to appropriate AED software.

Organizes, maintains and coordinates computer software for all sites.

Organizes and develops system to assist students in maintaining electronic record keeping access using College approved communications.

Organizes the instructional materials as they are used each semester by instructors at multiple sites.

Assists with the pre and post computerized testing of AED students.

Processes technology requests for ordering instructional and testing computerized purchases.

Participates in AED and IT Department meetings for the purpose of discussing project status, advanced technology, Help Desk procedures, and cross training.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:  Associates Degree required

Experience Requirements: One year experience in an adult education or ESL program preferred. Must be familiar with and comfortable with technology.
