As members of the undergraduate admissions staff, Admissions Counselors work closely with others on the staff to implement recruitment activities in support of the University’s annual enrollment goals. Responsibilities include managing a recruitment territory and travel schedule, conducting group information sessions and interviews, and evaluating admission applications. Other duties will be assigned based on the selected candidate’s background and skills. Preference will be given to W&L graduates.

A Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and the willingness to commit to the position for a minimum of two years are required. Strong communication and writing skills and demonstrated organizational abilities are expected. The successful candidate will be both willing and able to work as part of a successful admissions team, yet will be capable of creative self-direction. Preference will be given to W&L graduates.
