A Program Coordinator in the School of Extended Education is responsible for the support and implementation of academic and professional development programs delivered by the school. The position may include specialty areas in school operations or program support. A specialty area in school operations may include a focus in course management, student accounts and records reconciliation, and registration processing. A specialty area in program support may include a focus in student advisement, enrollment management, and class coordination. The successful candidate will employ strong customer service skills; both internally, to our school and other University team members, and externally to our students, and partners.

TYPE OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  General support.  Program coordinator is a team member expected to work independently as well as to be cross trained to support other team members.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

Essential functions:  100% of time

The items noted in this section will be dependent upon the specialty areas of coverage noted for
the individual coordinator position as well as:

Coordinate support services for Extended Education and designated program or specialty areas

  • Provide program implementation support including Banner, or other ERP requirements and LMS requirements for students, instructors, and Extended Education directors and team members
  • Provide Extended Education general department and program information to prospective students, current students and other stakeholders
  • Room scheduling for courses and events
  • Creation and upkeep of spreadsheets and database
  • Program analysis and recommendations
  • Grade processing
  • Instructor and student support
  • File and record maintenance
  • General Ex Ed fax, phone and mail support
  • Other duties as assigned
